recently a lot of Georgia Bulldog fans have been complaining about getting Nebraska two years in a row...said they are tides of getting low quality opponents in the bowl game....

one simple solution has been suggested, all Georgia has to do is win the SEC, go to the National Title playoff system, and there is ZERO chance that they will see Nebraska

OR the KSU Mildcats........

that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard... we have 2 conference titles since your last one.....

as pathetic as the big ten is, you are mid pack.... sucks to suck.....

No. What sucks is welching on your bets.

Having a 74 year old retread Head Coach does not inspire a lot of confidence. On the positive side, should Willy Snyder decide to retire again, Bill Callahan might be available.

Good things will be happening in Lincoln in the next season or so.

good things?? list those please.... but remember, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Here's a teaser for you first. Why do you think OU has reached out to want to schedule us for a non conference game? I'll even give you a hint...it concerns something the MildCats have seldom if ever done.

Make a list for you? Pay your bet off, "then we'll talk".

Maybe they want a non-conference game that assures them an easy win?

Aww come on Mike that''s to obvious.

They want to play a team that has lots of trophies gathering dust and that's easy to beat.

Actually, it's not self proclaimed. I can cite plenty of sources.

What are the Georgia fans saying now that they just got beat by a "low quality" team with a Freshman QB and banged up O line?

They're probably wishing they could have had their starting QB in the game as well as Gurley being healthy.

Yea, I don't think the game would have turned out like that with Murray playing QB & Gurley healthy. In fact I know it wouldn't have.

But I will congratulate the Huskers. They are a fine mediocre team and I commend them...............................

Yeah, we would like to have our starting QB, too. Ours was the conf. player of the year. We started a Freshman - I see Georgia started a Junior.
We would also like to of had a healthy O line and our best D end not dragging a leg.

Nor would it of been with Martinez playing QB behind a healthy O line.
We probably would of hung 30 more on them.

I think that makes us something like 17-9 against the SEC.

From the Oddsshark.com breakdown of Wednesday's Gator Bowl:

Nebraska
G Spencer Long: Out for season (knee)
QB Taylor Martinez: Out indefinitely (foot)
DE Avery Moss: Out for bowl game (personal)
DL Kevin Williams: Out for season (knee)

Georgia
CB Sheldon Dawson: Out for bowl game (disciplinary)
S Josh Harvey-Clemons: Out for bowl game (disciplinary)
OL Austin Long: Out for season (academics)
RB Keith Marshall: Out for season (knee)
WR Malcolm Mitchell: Out for season (knee)
QB Aaron Murray: Out for season (knee)
TE Jay Rome: Out for season (foot)
WR Justin Scott-Wesley: Out for season (knee)

Among others, this list doesn't include Georgia receiver Chris Conley, who aggravated an ankle injury and is questionable.

I have to agree with the king of Webster County..... injuries are different than kids with control issues....
