I was wondering if anyone out there has a portable hydraulic chute that they operate with the auxilliary ports on their bale bed. I have been told I can do it but was just wondering if anyone has any experience doing it. Mine is set up with a gas pump, but I thought that a bale bed would be good backup. Thanks.

It can be done- and I have seen done with both Hydra beds and Besler beds (with the auxillary ports ) that I know of by a couple of outfits...I've never used them (still have old manual chutes)- but apparently it works for them as they get the auxillary ports plumbed in on every bale bed they get....

I have a portable Hyqual chute and for the past 4 years I have run it off my Deweze. Only problem is you have to find a way to idle up the pickup so the chute will work right. About a 1000 rpms works good.
