A friend of mine (not a close friend but I sorta like him), I call him turnip truck because he reminds me of a slow country kid that fell off the turnip truck going through town, had reached the age of 30 and decided it was time to get married. He'd previously sparked a few nice girls, but wasn't "ready" to get married at the time. At 30, Turnip was in a hurry to get a wife, and he must have chosen the first gal that'd have him. He was at the State Fair, "made friends" with a drunk gal that was flashing her goods, and got married that weekend. Turnip's Mom (gets mad when I call Turnip Turnip) chewed me out for letting Turnip shoot himself in the foot like that eventhough I was unaware of anything until it was a done deal. The marriage lasted 2 years and cost
