Comeing into the library 3 days a week,that is..Gas is so high,and 60 miles in 3 days I don't have to drive makes a dent in the pocketbook.. Then too,visit DQ,and grocery I don't have to. :oops: ...SO,will try to cut my addiction to 1 day a week.. :cry: Gonna be hard,I learn sooo much. :?
 
Peg so you go in to get reference materials or use the computers or? I check out about 25 books at a crack. Then I dont need to go for repeat trips. I usually finish a book a night, so I need a few around. I always have to have one in the car for waiting for buddy. One in my bag for emergency and another in the bathroom as this is the only place one can read without interruptions ( and they think wimmin are in there fixing their hair! Ha we got em fooled right :)

Might be cheaper to get a computer at home if you are driving in to use the net?
 
Could be cheaper at home,but would have to do a total rewire on the house!
I check out books ,use computer,soak up cool air,order things on line(another reason to stay home!)
Hafta save some money somehow,so gotta break some addictiong..Don't
smoke or drink,so it's gonna be this..

All my buddies are dead,or moved.. Nobody around that understands my fassination with farm/ranch life/problems..Allways been an odd duck.
 
Your facination with ranchers is there cute little selves. I find a real spirit of community. Funny thing is alot of people just don't get it, or they rufuse to believe that "nice" people really do exist :) It truely is in your blood.
 
Well I, for one, always like to hear from you Peg. I hope you can find a way to get what you need in an affordable manner.

But I know what you mean about the cost of driving. I used to run to the coffe shop a couple of times a day. Not anymore, the gas costs way more than the coffee!
 
I calld to make a Dr app "Somday",but they put me on the "hot list" and I have it today--called in about 1:00,app for 2:30----I'm a bit spooked,as haven't been to Dr sense had cancer,and the Ins Co canceled on me.
Ah well,we'll see how it goes--the price of gas may be the least of my worries..
 
As of today,I was anemic,so am takeing iron--Had another Dr app Fri,ob/gyn--Now I have a d & c scedualed for the last of June,if they don't move it up.. Doesn't seem to have the Drs to excited,but I'M some spooked! Oh,if I dissappere in mid type,the library is packed today,so have been bumped once already!!

WELL! :mad: Got test results,high sugar,so now have a blood sugar monitar,which took me well over an hour to stick myself the first time. :oops:
Blood pressure is 112/89 :) If you saw me you wouldn't believe that one..
Anyhow gotta change my eating habits + a few other things.. Life goes on :(

Somehow I keep winding up here,but now need to buy all new grocerys,
so stoped here first.. :roll:
