We calve out on the grass and don't wander through ours much but once I purged the EXT's they are as easy to handle cattle as anybody's. Even tempered cattle and horses will stay that way without alot of fuss- the nutcases-EXT's etc- you can spend every waking minute trying to settle down. I don't know what's worse working in the stockyards-dodging the wildies or having some barnyard pet close her eyes and walk over you lol. I like my cows but I got a dog if I want to pet something.
