A good QB, high calibre linemen and 5 good receivers exposed one of the Kansas weaknesses - only 1 top defensive player.

Glad Reesing found his manhood late. Kansas may have reacted better with some better games leading up to MU, but MU has better players up and down their roster.

Kansas shouldn't be # 5, WV shouldn't be #2, and Ohio shouldn't be #3 and the pac 10 is lame. Arkansas is better than the pac 10 and #2, #3, & #5

OU is gonna beat MU, (real speed on D), and the B12 will suffer. The real strength in FB is MU, OU, and about 5 SEC teams, and none are gonna sniff the NC.

I really wish Kansas would have beaten MU, but I still have an 11 & 1 smile on my face. Rock Chalk.

I think MU rushing the QB so hard and fast is the reason KU had no passing game. Reesing looked small for the first time.

Squaks played a good season. so what, you lost out on a shaot at the national title.... I know a few thousand KSU and Husker fans who would kill for the season you guys just had!

At the start of the season, if somebody would of said you would finish the season 10-1, I bet you would of put up at least a $20 against it. You guys had a great year.

At one point, I was beginning to think that OU might be the best team also, and thought maybe the CU game was just a minor stumble.

But when TT dismantled OU as handily as they did, you must add the factor of consistancy in the equation.

OU just doesn't deserve the chance now. They had control of their own destiny.

similar to 2003. KSU slaughtered OU in the Big 12 title game, then they still had the BCS points to go on to the national title game. they did not deserve that chance, in my opinion.

that is why ALL conferences need a title game, or scrap them all. make if fair, or give us a play off!

Yeah, the prototype QB at 6'5" can dump a quick pass when the rush is hard. Freeman uses this as KSU's best weapon.

Most Jayhawks were hoping for 8 wins and would have been happy with 7 wins at the start of the season.

No playoff because the tv guys like picking the NC game, that's why WV jumped MU last week. If MU beats OU, the tv deal is screwed, but its likely OSU plays West Va to ridicule college fb. A playoff system doesn't exactly preclude getting jobbed for ratings, remember 1 seed Kansas playing #2 UCLA in California last year.
