They had a big barrel racin' here this weekend and my dayworkin' partner got wrangled into opening gates for the gals as they came in and out of the arena and barn. Sorry rascal called me at 7:00 this morning offering to buy breakfast if I came and helped. I told him in no uncertain terms what I thought of his proposition. Spending the day at a barrel racin'? I've got one "Hostile Native" at home. Why would any sane man wanna spend all day in a barn plumb full of them?
 
I'm with you NR. I'd even do that while wearing flip flops before I would have went to run gates at a barrel racin'.
 
Barrel racing, like any other sport, is like watching cement set if you are not a competitor.

I don't mind opening the gate for the girls, the views are usually pleasing to the eye. :wink:

I will have to say that after watching the Bella Coola and Anahim Lake rodeos this summer, the girls put on a far better performance overall than the cowboys who mostly fell off or missed their catches.

so....these gals are competitors.....how about a night of jello wrestling ?? the gals get to compete, and the guys will be sure to enjoy watching that !!
being the all around nice guy I am, I will drive up and referee the event!

All that lookin made ya go blind. Didn't it ? See? Men at barrel racings can't end good. That's what I tried to tell my partner this morning. He is old, so I'm probably gonna have to get him a seein eye dog after today.
 
You guys!!!!! These girls are going on to get their doctorants...Or is it Masters..... :???: I gotta figure out someway to get this one fella off the ranch... :oops: I'm thinking party like muddy says........ :)
 
We men need to figure a couple of things out in order to be of help. Do they wanna play doctor? Or, are they looking for someone to master? Please clarify for us so we can help.
