'Hank the Cowdog' production opens at Oklahoma Children's Theatre

"Hank the Cowdog" will be presented through Oct. 12 at Oklahoma Children's Theatre.

The Oklahoma Children's Theatre production of "Hank the Cowdog: Lost in the Dark and Unchanted Forest" opened Friday morning.

The production runs through Oct. 12 at 2501 N Blackwelder.

The play is based on the "Hank the Cowdog" series of children's books by John R. Erickson of Perryton, Texas. More than 8 million copies of the books have been sold.

My oldest son loved Hank the Cowdog! We have all the books, and I have another beginning reader who is getting ready to read those books. Great writer for kids---and adults!
