I think we have enough moisture for now

We got about 3" of rain starting Tuesday night and ending early this morning. Not sure what that puts us at for the year but I think 8 inches or so. This country isn't really designed for quite that much water, but I'm sure the water table needed it and hopefully this pays some dividends going forward. It's been so dry for so long (not dry like some of you folks though) a person forgets what it's like to have a wet year.

This bridge is about 200 yds. from our house, and is our neighbours only access to their place. Hopefully it holds but the water is still rising.

The bridge is at the far end of the picture, with some debris against the left side. Normally this little creek is close to dried up this time of year.

Here is a 360 degree pano, not sure how it will look on here.

Sounds like your neck of the woods is to get another 3 inches or so in the next 48 hours. We are over a foot now in the last 6 weeks.

OH! It has quit raining for the moment, time to get something done outside. Even if it's wrong! :D

I wish I could send some of this moisture your way and have it return in 3 or 4 weeks after i get some haying done. Had 2 inches under and hour yesterday while trying to install the pressure tank and controls for the new stock well. It quit raining when we finished up and turned the power on.

That's a lot of rain Silver. I hope you guys out there start getting some haying weather soon! You should have a decent crop with all that moisture.

The weatherman claims it's going to be in the 30's most of next week. I hope the creek keeps some water in it because I may have to submerge in it  I could live without heat like that, but it should really make grass.
I'm a little worried about the seedling hay, hope it survives laying in water in decent shape.
