We got about 3" of rain starting Tuesday night and ending early this morning. Not sure what that puts us at for the year but I think 8 inches or so. This country isn't really designed for quite that much water, but I'm sure the water table needed it and hopefully this pays some dividends going forward. It's been so dry for so long (not dry like some of you folks though) a person forgets what it's like to have a wet year.
This bridge is about 200 yds. from our house, and is our neighbours only access to their place. Hopefully it holds but the water is still rising.
The bridge is at the far end of the picture, with some debris against the left side. Normally this little creek is close to dried up this time of year.
Here is a 360 degree pano, not sure how it will look on here.
