hmm, I guess maybe you've only been exposed to Vancouverites. What a shame.
I just move here in October and the folks in our area are way nicer than most in AB now. I find the people here are always happy to see you and will bend over backwards to give you a helping hand.
I can honestly say the people here are great. :-)
 
I find them to be pot heads, and Arseholes! My ex is from there and yea hes an arsehole, but i have family over tehre and i guess there fine! lol I find some Albertains to be nice but some are just jerks!

IT just so happens I've found VERY few Albertans that were unfriendly or arses. The biggest prob in Alta at the moment is the influx of workers from other provinces for our Oil boom,annoying and frustrating but I also do not find those people to be unfriendly....guess what every place has jerks.Now enough generalising about a certain "Place" and get back to the topic...that place is very nice and I'd consider it wherever it was.I would love the solitude.
 
I really dont think Mrs. Greg knows anything about Albertans :) Being she's a Newfie and all :) :twisted:

When I lived in Edmonton I had never met such a great bunch! The people were amazing. But I find the same thing in PG as well, but here on the coast. Yipes!!!!

You're absolutely right Katy, we are all unfriendly arses out here and our only redeeming feature is our good bars, so tell everyone you know not to come out to Alberta! :lol: That way it won't be so crowded out here, and maybe Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, PEI, Manitoba, etc, wouldn't be getting emptier. :wink: By the way, aren't you a little young to have an ex-husband? :shock:

Katy trust me when I say,hooters Would NOT accept me and anyway I'd burn certain body parts delivering the soup to the table
 
haha oh funny you should mention soup and burning body parts.
The other day we were cookin soup in school, and i leaned over the oven to turn off the burner and Kayla yelled "Katy watch out your _______ are gunna MELT" It was funny! Im not allowed to go near the stove now! :shock:
