Lucky for her a bull jumped in the heifer pasture last summer after we had pulled bulls. She and two others got caught in a 12 hour period. Not unhappy about the outcome.
That's a great cow!!!! Deep and maternal. I'll take ten head if you'll deliver them to the desert. Although if it doesn't rain out here soon I may deliver a bunch up there to you.
Back in the 80's I knew some guys who had a ranch right on the line. When they gathered in the fall the Americans would have some Canadian cows. The Canadians would have some American cows. They would meet at a prearranged place and time on the border about 100 yards apart. They would each head the cows toward home. Cowboys would switch herds and head back home. I wonder if you could do that now?
We do live right on the border. Not often they get mixed but Border patrol if you let them know aren't to bad about it. They don't want to do the paper work.
That is one fine cow, Gcreek. Broody looking, deep and yet feminine. Her bag looks super too. Red cattle are my favorite so she checked all the boxes. I really like her.
