Hey y'all,
I don't know if any of you even remember mytfarms, but I am still kicking and still in the cattle business. I'm headed to college and to be on the livestock judging team in El Reno, OK. I'm basically central to cow country USA and it's going to be very interesting to see how these next months and couple years play out. Currently, I'm going to be searching out KS and OK wheat pasture to see if I can't get my little herd off the drought stressed hard grass country around home. News says if a guy can hang on until at least next fall, I'll be able to go buy a new truck with calf crop payouts. Not that I'd want to replace my Lincoln, but zero AC at 105 degrees sucks.
Hope all you folks are still making it through the dry spell alright. I could sure stand to see some pictures of green grass. Heck, even BMR's snow piles would be welcome down here if it's green us up.
