Electricity has been going on and off. Thunder storms are predicted for the rest of the week. Been pretty exciting around here.

Feel your pain Jeff! We lost over 100000 acres south and another 30000 acres northwest of our place. It aint fun! But could ya get the smoke to blow west instead of east. It sure has made a smokey valley over here, thanks to ya'll and Nevada. Take care and stay safe.

not that I really 'like' the guy, or trust/believe a single word he says, but right now I'm thinking that somewhere ol' Al Gore is kickin' back with a glass of his favorite Scotch Whiskey...as the ice-cubes are 'clinking' he's shaking his head chuckling to himself:

"Ahhz TOLD them (about Global-Warming) but they did'nt wanna LISTEN !"

All these fires, and the destruction/expense they have wrought upon
everyone/everything it has touched, makes me wonder how in the hell
the insurance-companies can possibly keep writing the checks...

I am PRAYING for an early winter, with LOTS of snowfall...

Where was Al in 1934, 1936, 1983, 1988?

Guess what we are going to have droughts, we are going to have prosperity, we are going to have good times and we are going to have hard times.

I'm not old enough to remember 1934 or 1936 but I sure remember 1983 and 1988 and without insurance we came thru them and some got stronger for the experience.
