Funny thing I have been working on getting some chickens...gotta get a coop built first. The lady I will be getting the chickens from and I were talking and I told her I wasnt sure if I would be able to kill and eat the chicken once it stopped laying.....Yes i know I am spoiled. Atleast I admit it and am willing to work on my issue.

when you get to the point your naming them use names such as soup, roaster, or dumpling...

and if you can't kill them then just remember that they aren't the best eating at that age anyways...
