Interesting plant

These are some more pics of lead plant we took yesterday. Funny, lazy ace had just told my Dad that he'd never seen cattle eat it, and we look over to the right and a younger cow was chowing downing on a lead plant.

I haven't seen them eat it much in the summer, but when it gets a bit cooler (before it is nothing but sticks), they will gobble it right up.

We have some different legumes in the native prairie but three books for this region don't list it. Interesting.
