I'd like to introduce the newest member to our family...Jazzy...she's a 3mo old purebred border collie. My son found her out in Cheyenne WY and got her for me. We just got her Friday nite, and she's already made lots of new friends on the ranch...She's a sweetie and all pup right now..oh them puppy stages of chewing! She doesn't seem afraid of anything.

cute pup Jassy, she has that look like she is very smart, which can be good and bad,lol

you hit the nail on the head...she's smart alright...to smart for her own good at times. She's so curious about everything! Doesn't come yet, unless it's on her terms..we'll have to work on that! Today is day 3 and after we got done moving cattle I let her out to follow us on horseback back to the barn...well she followed me so well that she got to close to my horses backend..he didn't care for that at all, but Jazzy ducked those flying hooves...and then after that she kept to the side bouncing all the way..so she did learn that fast. One thing about having a puppy that chews on everything..things are getting picked up in the house! She's a fun one.

Oh yur funny Lilly...ha ha...Yes I did stay on my steed today! Although riding him is getting more like an arthritic jackhammer! Gee ONE TIME I fell off..and now no one thinks I can ride...lol including my kid!

Shes very cute...the first pic looks like a potrait of royalty,I bet she is the queen of the household right now. :)

haha I hadn't noticed how the harness was on her. The one I have doesn't have the strap between the legs....the strap is on the back....where you then snap on the leash.

Jassy.......try it on the other way. See if it fits better.

I have only had this one harness for the lil female wiener dog...she pulls and tries to run constantly..if she has only a collar on...she's cuttin her own wind off all the time. Makes a horrible noise.....so she gets the harness.

The first picture reminded me of first graders having their school picture taken- all dressed up with a tie.
I have a special place in my heart for border collies and she is such a sweetie. Glad she found a good home.

Maple Leaf....they might..I dunno. LOL Maybe Jassy has one of them that have both. Could very well be.

Jassy.....??? does it have both or is it on backwards......

Reminds me of when I put my bikini bottom on wrong...(many moons ago when I could wear one) Them leg holes and waist holes all are about the same size......n I gotter on the wrong way.......man it didnt fit right at all...I was worried.....hahahahaha

hhmmmm Jassy just had a thought  my male dog is half border, half assuie, would make for some nice pups   i could take one off your hands as soon as you have them all cowtrained

Well ya'll had me wondering if I put her "training bra" on backwards..lol I checked it again and its on right, and it does have the leash ring on top, which is what I use, but in the picture it's hanging crooked, and it also has a ring on the collar part. There is a strap that goes down between her front legs, then around her belly. I like a harness so much better on a pup, than a collar. She's not crazy about it, but this is day 5 and she leads very well now. We're still working on the come command though...she's kind of stubborn, but it's getting better.

Oh I can't imagine the thought of having pups already! I've got to survive this pup first and all the chewing!!! lol She's gonna get an education on cows Wednesday, cause we're gonna preg 570 fall cows, and I can't leave her alone that long, so she's coming along, ought to be interesting. She's a whiner big time...when I leave the room or even to get out to get a gate she whines...guess she likes me!lol
