Rawhide Portable Corral, Inc., Abilene, KS, now offers the Rawhide Processor designed and built only by John McDonald. This innovative portable corral system has hydraulic transport wheels which are raised and lowered with the flip of a switch, no need to remove them. This model is a gooseneck with a sheeted alley and features the options of:

1) A manual or hydraulic adjustable alley which allows you to narrow the alley for calves as well as squeeze cattle in the alley.
2) a loading chute may be built in.

A 15 amp solar panel is standard equipment on all of our models, no need to recharge your battery. This Rawhide Processor comes in the same 3 sizes our Original Rawhide Portable Corral has, the Standard, Large and Super Large. For more information, contact John or Mary McDonald at Rawhide Portable Corral, Inc. 785-263-3436. www.rawhideportablecorral.com

A very old and good friend of mine in Texas bought one of these corral sysrems last April when the dealer had a show in Wichita Falls, Texas. I believe I was one like that described above. He daylabors for a living and in his area corrals sometimes aren't available. He swears by this system and has no regrets about the investment.

We bought one 2 or 3 years ago...cant remember which. Its very convenient. I have very few complaints. I wish that there was a wheel on both sides of each panel...(there may be now) and I also wish mine came with a solar panel (it didnt then) and I also wish the wheels on the panels were slightly larger to handle mud better.

Setting up is a piece of cake, but if they make a mess out of the ground, putting it up in mud can be a chore in the deep mud....

Oh I also wish mine was gooseneck, but that was my own fault.

Otherwise...its a great asset at a good price.

Our new Rawhide Processor comes as a gooseneck. The price for a Standard size (capacity up to 75 pair) is $11,500. We will take a trade in of the original style Rawhide as we get calls looking for used corrals. We do build the Large and Super Large sizes as well, give me a call for pricing. Also we have options now: 1) an adjustable alley from 32" down to 16", either manual or hydraulic, 2) a loading chute built right in and 3) mounting some headgates on the end of the alley. This corral is built only by Rawhide here in Abilene, KS. Please call for more details. 785-263-3436

The Rawhide Corrals come with a larger wheel on the panels now and the solar charger is standard equipment. Anybody out there that wants to mount one on your old corral, give me a call. 785-263-3436

Come visit us at the Omaha, NE Farm Show next week, March 9 & 10. John will be at the Triumph of Ag show at the Qwest Center Arena with the new Rawhide Processor. Please stop by and say HI!
