It Finally happened

We were supposed to brand this morning. But we couldn't get it done this morning, things got a bit to wet. Yep it finally rained, lots of fun riding this morning in the hail and rain. Got cold and soaked but it never felt better!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess we will brand on another day soon.

Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, there's always another day.
That's a good reason to have to cancel a branding. The first branding
here this year was cancelled because of a SNOW STORM.

We branded at the neigbors today and got rained on 2 or 3 times. Big wet drops, but when I got home, there wasn't much in the rain gauge!

we figured that between the storm last night and the one that came in this morining we got about an 1" Just about enough to get us started but not much more than that. But hopefully now that its remembered how to rain maybe it will keep a comin.

Good for you nenmrancher! Hope you got things primed and it keep raining for you. Drought is not fun. Hope it doesn't take a calf killin' blizzard for you to get some moisture, like it did here, but since we have no choice in the matter, we'll take what comes.
