You win a couple events at the Wrangler and get to shoot your first bear. This is one of our rodeo buddies from down south. Ty took the kids out bear hunting between the rodeo and the dance and Buck was lucky enough to tag out. Definately put a Meadow Lake twist onm highschool rodeo. Both Syd and Buck are gunners in the rodeo arena too.

That's a neat picture! Our boy was pretty excited about shooting a big 'ol turkey a few weeks back.....can just imagine how much fun they must have had shootin' a bear.

It was definately the talk of the rodeo today lol. You can't even do that at the NFR lol.

Great picture and story there northern, but I have to admit, that the hat is what did the trick. Them bear lake hats have special powers!
We ended up with 18 bears, 3 over 10 ft. the largest had a green score skull of 29 5/8 inches. Shawn
