Many adults don't read books! Or if they do it is only magazines for the sports, cars, etc. When they watch tv I suppose it is never the news unless the sports news or soaps. Newspapers for the horoscopes and comics.

Entertainment is key, heaven forbid they'd learn something about the world.

The guilt can't ALL be placed on the school system. It is the parents' dull, dull, dull minds.
