I have a JD 6310, I've found where to put the fuse into that slot for calibration/diagnostics. Does anyone have something that tells what all the numbers mean? I'm hoping there is something there to tell me why the transmission oil pressure and stop engine light is flashing, even after changing the filters.

I have a JD 6320 and just day before yesterday I had a similar problem. Only mine said the hydraulic fluid temperature was too high and to check the fluid level and filters. Like you, I replaced the filters which didn't seem to help but after adding a gallon of oil and letting it sit overnight I've had no more problems with it. There are diagnostic codes in the back of the instruction manual but I kind of think you have to have a special computer gizmo to plug in to make any sense of the codes. Probably only a dealer would have that equipment. I was pulling mine pretty hard with a swather in heavy hay on a hot day. Oh, also, wash out the cooler if there is any dirt in it. Not sure this was your exact problem but hope it's of some help.

Just out of curosity, how much did your filters cost in your part of the country? Mine were $61 for the two plus $12.04 a gallon for the oil. And made in Italy....not sure JD makes anything in the US anymore.

John Deere makes alot of money in the USA not much else..

Trick is buy a Belarus tractor they may be crude but they are simple and inexpensive..

Yes, I'm sure you are right, Denny, but it's a long way to Moscow for parts

One of the things I like about New Holland hay equipment is that it is made in he US and the parts seem more reasonably priced. The only things on that tractor made in the US are the tires. The rest came from Germany. :(

The parts are in a warehouse in Milwaukee Wis longest I ever waited for parts was 2 days shipped federal express. The parts deal is just as bad for John Deere around here they dont keep anything on had but (We can Order It) is they're favorite words.

Gotta look up what my prices were, yes the tractor says Made In Germany on it. That's one country I don't mind making my stuff. I needed the flexible exhaust piece that goes from the muffler down to the vertical stack. $124.00, not in stock of course. Imagine how big of a wharehouse they'd need to keep everything in stock. I could have paid $40ish for overnight, next days was no more then $7, and ground was free.

Went to the dealer today. Reg Hy Guard is 10.60 a gallon, 10.70 for low viscosity. I thik 5 gallons was 48 and some change.
