I was wonder if any of you have read the book by Clayton Jennings. I have been trying to find it around but havent had any luck...is it an interesting book and wherer could i find it?

I have 3 of his books. They are good reading. I would recommend them. As in most autobiography's, they are apt to have fiction/non fiction in the same book. :wink: He did lead a colorful life. Check out Youngs Western Wear in Valentine Nebraska. They probably have a website, but they do have a booth, and books for sale at the Stock Show out here in Rapid. That is where I got the last one of mine a couple years ago.

Clayton Jennings-wasn't he Jim Leachman's mentor-I read his first book-he made and lost alot of money inhis lifetime that's for sure.

The first book by Clayton Jennings was entitled "Handshake Code of the West". It was copyrighted in 1993, and was printed by Pine Hill Press, Inc. of Freeman, SD 57029.

The second book was "Mystery of Handshake--The Rest of My Story". It was copyrighted in 1995, and was also printed by Pine Hill Press.

The last book was "Blessings From the School of Hard Knocks", 1998, Pine Hill Press.

These are all quite interesting and well written. Clayton told it like it was. If he didn't like someone, he didn't hold anything back. :wink:
