This is the "real deal" Border Collie x Corgi, sheep and cattle working son of a gun.

Mom didn't appreciate getting crowded at the water tank, so they are having a little talk!!

The only decent picture with action of my male dog I could find. He doesn't get after them until he thinks he can. Apparently he thought the stupid training calves weren't moving fast enough.

Here's some good pictures of my female at a trial we had last May.

She fought this steer the whole time and we finished as time ran out.

Yeah, little Shilo "bug" thinks she's tough. She's 2 yrs old in this picture, and that's about as big as she's gonna get.

I was down helping my dad gather some yearlings when she was about 1 year old. Had to come down off a steep hill to get through the gate. We had about 40 yearlings down at the gate and they all bunched up. I had my female BC with me and we were holding them there trying to get them to see the gate. All of the sudden I see this little black blur and cattle scatter. It was steep enough to hold most of them, but 2 go blarring past me, so I turn to go after them real quick. Shilo is chasin like a firecracker, I'm yellin, dang near run her over with my horse trying to get her to stop. She finally did. Jumped off and grabbed her, went back and spent half an hour getting the cattle through the gate.

Took me 3 hours to get the 2 that got away the next day. After that I decided we needed to get some "structure" in her life. She tries real hard but has "little dog syndrome"!

that's neat story about a young dog causing a wreck that happens to me more often than i care to say but i work alot of young dogs
i know all about the little dog syndrone i had a pebroke welsh corgi that i carried with me for years and he thought he had to try to out wotk any other cow dog and in traps and pens he could but he got old and crippled so i gave him to a friend and he was living the good life last i heard but he is most likley gone by now
