I realize that it's the first game of the season and that the game is far from over - but I just checked scores and the mildcats are tied with Missouri St? No, not Mizzou - Missouri STATE.
 
check it again...51 - 9 ....

last year , our opener was won in the last 2 minutes...then we went on to win 10 games. I am confident in Snyder. he does more with 2 star players than Bo does with 5 star players.
 
Big talk from a Husker by birth.

I liked what I saw in Lincoln yesterday, but it looks to me like Pappageorgio needs to get the D boys lined out and on the same page. Martinez really impressed me with his improvement.
 
martinez has definately improved, but I think NU is still 4th or 5th in big ten.....
 
Close game til deep in the 3rd. MSU is closest university to me and that program is terrible. Early season jitters get everyone...
 
I hope you guys didn't watch the Sooners play saturday night!
KSU is probably licking their chops in a couple of weeks if we don't improve.
 
pening weekend jitters...Big game Bob will have them ready, hopefully just as ready as the big 12 title game in 2003
 
that showed a major flaw in the BCS.... if a team can not win thier conference title game, they have no business playing for a national title....

I loved how ESPN was all up on OU being the greatest team to EVER take the field.....then, KSU just methodically took them apart..... but you NEVER see that game on ESPN classics.... pisses me off
 
52-13.... Miami was supposed to avenge the "fluke loss" to KSU from last year.... the 2 and 3 deep guys looked pretty good today also, so the theory that we are just Klien and no real team is out.... KSU will have a test in two weeks as we travel to Norman, but I feel we will be in a position to take the sooners this year.....

gotta go get my UCLA shirt on.
 
I am REALLY looking forward to the OU game...it will set the tone for the rest of the season. if we can get a win, the Big 12 title is ours to lose, if OU wins, we have a tougher road to get to where we want....

how about ULM over Arkansas!!! that is why they play the games!!

I did not catch the Husker score....any husker fans here to update me???

I'm not sure, but I think it was 10-7... Oh wait, that was the Leader Whiskey dropping to Oregon State. Maybe Nebraska's was a Legendary 36-30 or something like that?
 
old Bozo Pelini is such a defensive genius.... he has proven that he belongs at NU...consistantly putting up sub par seasons.....
 
Sure is funny how nebraska was great 15 years ago and you guys still so butt hurt over it all you can do is talk shirt. Pretty low. Have some class.

Can't you just admit that Nebraska's defense did a very bad job? Why do you have to bring up the past? If Nebraska fans didn't talk about how great they are all the time nobody would give you so much crap when you lose. K State fans are just as bad, they just havn't lost yet this year.
