well, I never thought it would be a day like this. as we drove north today I told my brother in law that I had a sinking feeling. thought we would lose a nailbiter. I was waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy off on that one!

Huskers REALLY pulle it together, and we just flat out STUNK. however. the tickets we got were horrid.north west corner 5 rows from the top!

yup, me enjoying the pregame.....pretty much where the fun ended!

then my cousin calls and asks if I am at the game! said 2 of his 4 tickets are not being used, we should come over to his area.

the view from his spot! just a weeee bit better.

all in all, fans were decent. but as they pulled away, a lot of frustration poured out and those fans got nasty. they wanted blood, and they got it!

I was VERY upset with the passing game clear into the 4th quarter. the game was in the bag. you need to be running the ball at that point. but I see BC trying to save his job, so I can over look it I guess.

sure we took it in the ash, but I have always wanted to see a game in that place, now I have, and I am looking forward to going again!

oh, yes, my seats! they are in the faculty section, so I was 3 guys away from the baseball coach and surrounded by baseball players. we even got to walk around on the bottom by the players before the game....never got to do that at KSU

I may wait a few days to argue the game with you guys though.... it really hurt. I felt sick all the way home. I don't mind a loss, but man, that was pathetic and un acceptable.

Jigs, "I was VERY upset with the passing game clear into the 4th quarter. the game was in the bag. you need to be running the ball at that point. but I see BC trying to save his job, so I can over look it I guess. "

Well, we weren't too impressed with Snyder never pulling his starters on a 30 point win, either. I guess that evens things up.

Did you hit any watering holes?

just got the hell out of town. was not in a real jovial mood.

KSU has NEVER ran up the score. we beat you soundly, but we were RUNNING the ball, not playing a verticle game. HUGE difference. one is "let the clock run, we have the game won" the other is "manage the clock, see if we can get 100.....these bastards want to fire me"

if you do not see the difference then you are an idiot.

I'd say leaving your starters in when the game is more than decided and the other team is even putting in their second and third stringers is about the same thing.

Callahan might of been sending Prince a message about recruiting our commits - the next one might be a good one.

the next one may be just like this one!

we need bigger o line men

bigger d linemen
faster d backs
a d that is aggressive (like Simineau, Kelly, Newman & Ochs)
a coach who adjusts at halftime
a good core group of recievers
a run game

gonna be a LONG off season.

Heck jigs........... We all know that the Cats are and were the better team.
It was a fluke....... You and I all know what the pregame film must of looked like.... K-state went in not playing their best game..... Don't be too hard on yourself or the Cats....

Physical talent is not all what college football is all about jigs.

You and I both know that lesser talented/physically gifted teams win every week.

The ones' that win just WANT it more.

For example, take the Appalachian State vs. Michigan game this year or any number of upsets during the season..............CO vs. OKLA..... the list goes on.

It takes 11 guys executing as one.............................

If recruiting was all about size and speed........USC and Notre Dame would win every game they play.

I really think the guys saw the KU score, and thought they would walk in and say"here we are, now let us win"

NU was definatly up for a ballgame.

the thing that eats me is our line. Prince played the line he ought to do a better job preparing the part of the team he played on!

imagine Brett Favre as a QB coach, and the QB not executing very well!

Thought about going to SLC yesterday for the UW game, from the score looked like Wyoming football team stayed home too. I did go to the city of IF.
There allot going to Laramie for the BYU game next week.
