The gentleman in the middle celebrated his 80th birthday on Sunday the 5th.

Results of a hail storm which hit the north end of our place on the night of July 4th.

It knocked the blossoms off of the soapweeds.

And moved quite a bit of sand

A lotta wotta

Caused some gullies

And washed lots of sand

Hard on the hills

This is how erosion is caused.

Good to see some rain in that part of the world, even if it does some washing. I see in the birthday photo you captured a picture of some of my Connell relatives. World keeps getting smaller.
