Very well. They may be out in the lake farther than necessary, but they certainly function as secure anchors on which to tie the wires. Hopefully the wires will still be tied on satisfactorily next year so the job won't need to be done again. Usually the ice and wave action takes out the steel posts each year, but we are hoping this will be a more permanent solution.
