I was a Squid some 30 odd years ago and I respect and appreciate the Gyrenes! Now days you can be born a male and later decide to be or claim to be a woman...or vice versa. You can be born of Scandanavian/German/English or whatever descent and claim to be Black...but you can never claim to be a Marine unless you've sweat and bled and suffered through and emerged from the Crucible...and then you can be Proud to Claim the Title of United States Marine. OOOORAH! , if I may.
