from taking in the International Plowing Match and Farm Machinery Show which was held 20 mi. from our farm this year. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it is about the biggest farm machinery show in Ontario, along with something for everybody in the house.

There is even a fair bit of competition to see who can lay over the best furrow. Seems kinda redundant to a no-tiller!

Had 5 days of perfect weather for it and the "streets" of the tented city were very busy. Averaged about 25-28,000 visitors per day. The beer and entertainment tents were doing a great business.

But the best show of all was put on today at the main stage, and the performer was no other than Three Hills, Alberta's . . . .

Drum roll . . .

GEORGE FOX!!!!

He did a great job and sang a terrific song that he wrote about what what it means to be "Canadian, EH?" Great performer, he is.

MLA, he's from 3 hills, but actually has a farm down around Hamilton. (binbrook, I believe) Thought I'd let you know.
