Remember Judith the other day I said we had too many horses for riders,as is true with addicted horse people,my darling hubby went to quarter horse sale yesterday and brought home a "replacement" gelding.'Claims" hes getting rid of his 'OLD' gelding, making this one reasonable

Go to www.coulthardqh.com. Go to page three,10th horse on bill,Tee Jay Rip is name of the 4 yr. old....hes pretty nice. Browse through the sale, Betty has some really nice QH...oh and shes Greg cousin to boot, didn't get a deal though

Isn't there alway room for just one more :) I like the fact that greg made up some story about the gelding being a replacement. Nice looking boy though! Great pedigree :)

brought home a "replacement

...used that "reasoning" many a time myself....

his new gelding should have plenty of motor with that Doc Olena breeding. I rode a few grandsons of his & they never ran short on gas. Don't believe I ever wore one out.

Thats what gregs hopin, our river pasture needs a horse like that.Hes pretty to look at,if he has the brains that goes with the looks we'll be set :)

If I remember correctly, Doc Olenas had plenty of smarts, but had a tendency to be a bit bull-headed about gettin there. But once they got it, they stayed pretty dang honest & were real handy. Also, they weren't the kind that just plodded along, when given a job, they got right after it; yall don't want to be sittin on your pockets when ya asked them for something

good luck with your horses.!
Unfortunately, I ran up on a guy 73yrs with big legal problems, being evicted in 10 days, with 15 head of registered horses he's been feeding for 11 yrs! He had no computer, so I listed them for cheap. A bunch of lawyers had already stole everything in cahoots with a local judge, so he donated all the horses to the church, who tried to find a horse broker, but couldn't. So we undertook to sell em cheap and give every penny to his church. Which we did. all papered. GranDtr Peppy San Badger, GranDtr 3 bars, and some appy from foundation stuff. Finally got rid of all of them in 3 days, at super fire sale prices. But they got good homes, the old man can stop spending his SS check of feed, and some people in the parish might get bailed out of an emergency.
God really owns it all anyway, we're just caretakers.

That is for sure, skidboots.

Really says a lot for you for helping out a bad situation.
Nice that the horses found GOOD homes.

Anymore, we don't SELL horses, we PLACE them...

And right now, we have a Smart Little Lena bred gelding
and he is downright GOOD...and he is so cowy...makes it fun
to ride him.
