K-State Halftime Show

Help Support Ranchers.net:

The band prank doesn't offend me, but the tater's cover up lies seem like right out of the Clinton deception handbook.

1) remember one of the taters favorite Jayhawk slurs is "gayhawk"
2) indisputable size relationship a mere coincidence between the Jayhawk and the enormous uss enterprise? Really, does anyone really imagine the Jayhawk is so large as to fit the mile long enterprise conveniently in its mouth?
3) does any Trekkie really envision the enterprise attack attacking the Jayhawk in the mouth? Right, that's kirks mo - hit them where theyre most defensive.
4) so, how is the Jayhawk putting the enterprise in its mouth anti KU ? Or are we to believe the taters planned to use the Jayhawk effigy for any reason other than to denigrate Kansas?

The prank was stupid because it elevates Kansas to ksu's obsession(doubt many taters will understand that one), but they might observe how much attention Kansas pays ksu in a couple months during the Kentucky game.

The lie "anatomy wasn't perfect" or "accident" or whatever would only be told by a dim wit and only believed by a dim wit. I guess if you are stupid enough to tell that "anatomy" lie, you're stupid enough to think someone would believe it.

They said you could smell him from across the field. :stop:

well, you Willa Cather historian and biggest fan, the guns were up today..... we went into a nationally ranked opponents field with a wide receiver playing QB, and dang near won the game. How did the Big Pink fair with the Illini ?? that power house from Illinois...
looks like you guys need to polish up those National title trophies... all 4, and the one that really belongs to Michigan, because there is a LONG uphill road before you reach anything similar to relevance.... maybe you COULD come back to the Big 12, KU would like a team to beat.

At least we've got the trophies to polish. Better a used to waser than a never waser. The thing that hurts is that we're basically 3 plays from being 5-0.

All I know is Mike Riley better be working on his resume. I can see the bumper stickers now:

HONK IF YOU'VE COACHED AT NEBRASKA

if the bottom half of the conference is beating you, then you may need to pawn one of those trophies to become bowl eligible

At least we've got them to pawn.

If you have to use a receiver as a QB, that doesn't say too terrible much about Snyder's depth at QB or recent recruiting success. Those JuCo boys can't tote the entire load.

He was the fifth stringer, how many quality qbs do most teams have that can step in and lead scoring drives?

1. Ertz: knee season
2. Hubener: possible concussion
3. Delton: knee possible season
4. Banks: mono
5. WR Cook injury

No turf toe? WTF is a "possible concussion"? He either got concucted or he didn't. Kinda like "possibly pregnant". You either is or you ain't. Is Frank Burns the team doctor, or are they using the equally inept Dave Rethorst, DVM?

Pretty stupid if you think a concussion is cut & dry like a pregnancy. A "possible concussion" must be treated according to the plan as if he were concussive or not.

Healthcare professionals should assume a concussion when unsure and waiting for final
diagnosis. When in doubt, sit the athlete out. Institutions should ensure healthcare professionals
attain continuing education on concussion evaluation and management annually. Structured and
documented education of student‐athletes and coaches is also recommended to improve the
success of the recognition and referral components of a consistent concussion management
program.
