AUBURN, Ala. — The Kansas State equestrian team dropped its second head-to-head varsity match of the season Saturday as Auburn took home a 12-6 win in the final show of the fall season for the Wildcats.

Kansas State has now brought its overall record to 4-2 on the season. Junior Alyssa Freeman took home the only MVP award for K-State in Horsemanship with her score of 74.5-71.5.

"This was a great opportunity for everyone to figure out what we need to focus on for next semester," Western head coach Casie Williamson said. "Alyssa Freeman rode her heart out today and produced two really stellar performances."

Word is Pelini is the man. Oz said he would probably have a decision by Wednesday (yesterday) He also said the search was going well and on schedule. Now he says he will probably make an announcement the first of the week. Considering Pelini has a game Saturday - it kind of makes sense. Today, Oz named himself interm Head Coach so that he can contact recruits. Pelini was also the first one interviewed.

Since so few of the Husker recruits actually come from Nebraska, (4 out of 22 of current committments) they need to move pretty fast too. Those out-of-state boys get sorta antsy.

Kids these days ain't like they used to be........................they have little allegiance to any one school.

Main things are if they can play now and be seen by the Pro's :roll:

Yes he has. Nebraska and Auburn held a clinic together last year also.

It was a local reporter that saw Prince in Auburn. He mentioned it on his local sports show yesterday and that he asked him what he was doing in Auburn and Prince said it was a personal visit and refused to be interviewed on air.

No big deal to me, I was just curious as to why. Might be a recruiting conference for all I know but it was mentioned on a another talk radio show that he was seeking the OC job.

Funny thing is.........the Auburn OC job is secure for now?

Snyder may have left in the starters, but we RAN THE BALL. old Callahan was still playing a verticle game taking long shots at the endzone when the game was out of hand.

and even good old Dr. Tom has brought the starters back in to add a few scores when KSU brought the score with in the point spread...... not sure which years, but I could get the info for you.

Gill would be better in my book. But he is inexperienced and the fans must allow him to lose a few games until he matures and gets the right assistant coaches in place.

Jim Grobe (interviewed on Tuesday) from Wake Forest would be a good choice too.

When you're down three TDs and there is 2 minutes left, the game is over. Husker Nation understands football and were in full support of Pelini. Look at what Pelini had to work with at LSU - what do you think is the average IQ of those players?

Jigs, you're taking a page out of the Democrat's book, you're justifying your a-hole by the actions of another a-hole instead of admitting your guy was an a-hole. Callahan was an a-hole to do what he did, now it's your turn.....

I know two stories - both verified by the opposing teams coaching staffs - that Tom sent over notes to the other team at half time saying all of our runs would be between the tackles. Your point spread theory is laughable.
