Greg and I horse camp at little Elbow...or Big Elbow if we pack out,my fav is climbing Powder face ridge and seeing forever.

This is the first time I've been in that country. We went as far as Seven Mile Meadow, which I'm told isn't far from Little Elbow, but you couldn't prove it by me. I'd like to spend more time riding around, but I don't get paid to ride there....... However, I'm lucky enough to ride in gorgeous country daily!

I can't begin to count the number of times in my 48 years I've seen our Rockies,every single time I see them they take my breath away

Wonderful pictures. That is beautiful scenery, and you are seeing it the way it should be done--on horseback. Thank you very much for posting these photos. It's enough to make a person want to plan to head out on a mountain packtrip.

Soapweed, a packtrip is always in the works, but somehow there never seems to be time to actually do it. One of these days......

One of the best packtrips would be from the Ya Ha Tinda to Lake Louise following the Red Deer River....... and don't forget to stop at the Skoki Lodge along the way

That sounds like it would be pretty nice. I haven't been anywhere near Lake Louise in years. I wouldn't mind touring Waterton, as it isn't as busy as Banff. Most of the packing I get to do involves packing salt or chainsaw/fencing supplies. For a change it would be nice to pack for a holiday.
