Wow, jigs. I'm a Kansas boy like you and have seen hundreds of scenes of devastation and a person still can't get used to them, huh?

sad thing is, Jewell is a very small town, and there is only a year or two left before they must close the school... even now, they are sending the boys over to our school to play football. one guy told me that of all the things destroyed in town, the school stayed....would have been an easy decision had the twister taken the school.

Wicked Stuff!!!

This morning on the TV news I saw a tape from a Bank security camera when a tornado hit the bank -- that was a wicked few seconds- and it looked like the whole bank was destroyed...Must have been one good security camera tho- as it was still operating altho pointing a different direction ......

I've been tellin' my hubby that we should move to another state where we can have more land then I see this, it's a reminder that I aught to be grateful for what I have.
Thank God the worst we have to deal with is a tree over the road or our power out.
