kawasaki mule

I love our gator...... It's our workhorse.... Sure it's not fast.... But I guess nether are our cattle... I've been spraying weeds along the creek and I am a real chicken.... I feel totally safe doing this... I can pack 900 pounds of cargo and it's the meanest thing around when it comes to mud... Yes the belt will ship if it get wet.... But that's when the water is coming through the floor boards.... Just my preferance and thats all....

I think I will just haul the mule in for service,if they make me a good deal,i will trade it, if not have it serviced and take it back to the ranch,I really have got good service out of it.
I dont think any of them are perfect, just tradin one type of problem for another.

good luck

We have been looking at Japanese mini trucks. Just waiting for the right one at the right price. They are road legal, do 65mph, AC, heat, cab, can use quad tires, and can come with a dump box. They run between $4000 - $9000 depending on options and condition.

A neighbor has one of these, and I never see them use it. We use our Polaris Rangers every day. Lots of days I put 50 miles on mine. For one thing, the steering wheel is on the "wrong" side of the Japenese trucks, which would make them awkward as the dickens.[/quote]

Your gates must do up on the wrong side... You just have to learn to fence left handed

We're on our second ranger. Still would be using the first if some lousey basserd hadn't stolen it. Ranger 1 was a 2x4. With a locking rear diff we only got it stuck if we lodged it up on a stump -usually. Bought a 4x4 the next time. Has much better clearance and has never been stuck. Body plastic isn't the best though. We have an outdoor woodburning furnace and haul a bunch of firewood in this little bugger. Gets into and more importantly- out of - places I wouldn't consider taking
my kubota tractor. Feels much safer running up the steep hills we have here. Paid 6800 for the 2x4 and 8500 for the 4x4 five years later.

About 3 weeks ago, I heard on the radio that Polaris was moving all their manufacturing plants to Mexico.
ight want to check on that, but the CEO said he didn't think it mattered to the consumers.

A Polaris 6 wheel and 4 wheel here. They are handy and we have a dealer 15 minutes away but the maintenance is high and pricey. The Kubota is too slow and heavy to do my job. Kubota does have a smaller version that might be OK. I have thought of giving a Mule a try to see if it stands up better to us. We don't baby these things and are in tough terrain so the maintenance issue could be a product of how they are treated.

My son liked his 2005 Ranger so well he kept it and got a 2010 - - - - much faster!!!!

Both are 4X4 and seem to be real good machines!

I would hate it if they moved to Mexico!

Saw some brand of UTV at Home Depot yesterday. Had a Subaru engine in it. Was in a hurry so didn't look at it very well but at first glance I was impressed by how well it was built. Under 7 grand I believe for a 4X4.

Have a couple of Polaris ATV's and will never own another. Dealer is good but disappointed in quality of product. Just welded a bracket for rear suspension because it is not made near heavy enough. Way overpriced junk.
