Last Friday evening, June 26, 2009, the Kosmo Kid and his kutie tied the knot in Lewiston, Idaho. It was a wonderful wedding. Western Idaho is gorgeous country. The rest of my family drove out for the festivities, but I cheated and traveled by plane, flying from Rapid City, SD, on Thursday and returning on Saturday. I changed planes in Salt Lake City both going to Lewiston and again on the return flight. Had some interesting seat mates, so didn't get as much reading done as expected.

Breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express on the morning of the wedding. Here are my sister, my dad, and his bride of nearly two years. This motel was a wonderful place to stay. The weather was perfect all the time we were there, with temperatures near 70 and little or no wind.

i bet half the people on that plane where thinking, "i can't believe it, Soapweed is on our plane" comes with being a celebrity :D :D

Mr. Weed! I am highly disgusted that you were in SLC and didnt let me know! I could of got my copy of Cherry electric signed! Congrats to Kosmo! :D We wish them many years of wedded bliss! :D

With your telescopic eye sight that can see cows on a island, canola from 30,000ft, you should be able to read the fine print on those coffee cups on the table.   You must have been hungry, first one done and didn't leave a crumb.

Soapweed, congrats to your son and new daughter-in-law.

The view from the Elks Lodge is awsome. If you don't mind me asking, who in your party is a member of the Elks? I only ask because i'm an officer with the Des Moines Elks Lodge.

The arrangement with the Elks Lodge was done by the bride's family, so I am not sure if any of them are members of the Elks or not. Later on, there will be a reception for the newlyweds in Nebraska, for those who were unable to make the significant drive to Idaho.
