Shhhhhhhhh....the above is secret code for "We weren't asked or wanted by any other conference, let alone a conference who offered us a whole lot more than what we already had....."

Jiggsy, I will say one thing about your Mildcats...they are about as inconsistant as a team can be.......one week just lay down like a biatch and the next actually look pretty good.

Katrina,

KSU played "without" a quarterback too.

They had the Texas q-back so messed up, he could neither scratch his watch nor wind his azz.

I thoroughly enjoyed watchin' that thumpin'.

Now if Bill could only find a school to teach him how to beat Nebraska.....

The game was even more fun to be at in person. Mack Brown is a tough bird to figure out.......how many times has he had top 5 recruiting classes, and the net result is they pee down their leg. TX quit at halftime last night. I'm sure the TX sidelines enjoyed listening to the KSU students behind them chanting "we own TX" throughout the 4th qtr.

Mack ought to have 4 national titles with the talent pool he gets at texas. he is a great recruiter, poor adjuster / coach. Bill takes the kids no one else looks at, and develope good players. no blue chip kids at KSU, but good solid kids who WANT to play. the texas kids seemed to just fold up and quit last night...like they are ENTITLED to win, and will not fight for the win.

I will give props to Mack, after the roughing the punter call, he went out to check on the KSU punter. that showed class.

You're, of course, speaking about those Orange Bowls that the Big 8 champion when to - that Kansas St. watched at home on TV?

It was a win. With Green as QB, I'll take it. The score would have been different with Martinez under center. What about the way KU came back? I wish Turner all the best beginning next year...In fact, KU will be my favorite Big 12 team starting next fall. Things will be a changin' in Lawrence next season.

yes, the ones where (insert team here) embarrassed NU for being slow.

But the Mildcats got their fair share of the purse from us anyway. Instead of Bill Snyder Family Stadium, the sign should say, "This Stadium and Athletic Program Built by Funds Provided by the Universities of Nebraska and Oklahoma. Thanks, Tom and Barry!"
