She got into a fight with her recording company in Nashville as they wouldn't let her record the songs she wanted so she made this album in her own recording studio. Here are a couple of the songs from "Last Wild Place."
We had at least two of these CD's and can't find either one, so I'm going to reorder because I miss the album so much. Anyhow, thought some of you might enjoy these. In "Listen to the wind" she talks about her problems in Nashville. It's a beautiful song, and I think she wrote most, if not all, the songs on the album.
Anyone who thinks about their kids growing up too fast should enjoy Little Boy Blue. She sings it to her son who grew up while she was on the road.
The song is a bit sad, but holds a lot of meaning. IMO...

"She Can Run" is also on the CD, but I can't find it anywhere.
There are many that I just can't recall the name, darn! Oh well, will make the new CD even more special.
