I saw an advertisement the other day that said Lagrand Hoff Scotch cap bull sale. Did Lagrand buy their name out or something or whats the deal with this?
Lagrand bought a lot of cows on Hoff's dispersion, as well as the ranch. Hoff's are going to stay on as consultants for Lagrand. I assume since they are having the sale at the former Hoff's ranch and Doug and Molly are part of it, they are using both names to show respect to Hoffs. JMO
I guess lagrands are going to do fall calving at Hoff's and sell 18 mo bulls. I have heard Doug and Molly will be leaving in the next year. Then lagrands will be one their own. This weekend they are having a preview of the bulls and a free lunch. The sale is in a couple of weeks.
