Leachman/Faster Horses

Faster Horses, on another thread you asked which Leachman outfit I was affiliated.

I initially began buying herf/ang/simmi/gelb bulls from marc a long time ago. They were pretty snuffy and used black angus resulting in some rat tails. So I began buying bulls from big Jim. Only sight unseen. Only time I met Jim he was in Kansas. I've always appreiated the fact they bought bulls and billed actual auction price instead of using up your order ceiling.

I don't know much about the split - I suspect the details are pretty sad.

I am sure it was.

I have friends that were the CowBoss at Leachman's for awhile,
and while I call Jim Leachman the "King of BS", they said he
was actually a pretty good person. Not so, everyone in that family,
but there was one son that they also thought highly of.
