Just came home from ten days right in the heart of the Bear Ears area. To a person, EVERYONE we talked to hate the monument!!!! Every Native American and every local. The Subaru crowd love it though. They need signs to direct them to the pretty sights and they come in hoards to gawk at cliff houses. Sadly, making it a monument will start it down the path to ruin as people discover it. It's a beautiful part of the planet. Once the park service paves it and builds visitors centers a d erects signs and all the other BS it will surely lose its luster for me. And thousands of others who live on the four corners area. Y'all who voted for this clown can own this!!!!
