Harding County Stockgrowers will host R-CALF USA President and Co-Founder Leo McDonnell at 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, at Harding County Recreation Center in Buffalo, S.D. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment by Rodney Nelson will follow. Nelson is a cowboy poet and humorist from Almont, N.D. Cost for dinner and entertainment is $15.
R-CALF USA works on various issues that affect independent U.S. cattle producers, such as country-of-origin labeling, livestock price reporting, animal health concerns, captive supplies and packer ownership of livestock, as well as various trade agreements.
