On the ranch there are 6 Less Coyotes , plus the the 18 to 24 pups that will not be around to be fed,takes away one worry as calves and later lambs start hitting the ground....Plane and gunner don't take long.
Coyotes were never a problem , we used to have lots of Fox then the wolf introduction . More and more Coyotes moved in Fox got aggressive with lambs, and would eat the nose and tounge out of a calf being born. We gassed a few dens ,and then Mange really thin them out. Some of the Coyotes got mange but they seem to tough it out.
