Soapweed, get rain???

We did. :-) I am happy to report that we were blessed with an even two inches of wonderful rain. Yesterday, Peach Blossom and I attended the annual Sandhills Cattle Convention which was held in North Platte. It rained down there all day, and everyone was in high spirits to get the moisture. The bullfrogs singing in the newly formed ponds make up just about the sweetest sounding symphony that an old cowboy can hear. :-) :-)

The wind has been blowing so hard here we wouldn't be able to hear the bullfrogs. If it keeps blowing like this we aren't even gonna be able to tell we got rain.

We actually heard the frog serenade in Thedford last night. The wind is blowing hard here today also, but possibly it might even blow up some more rain. By the looks of the radar, there is some to the south of us moving this way.

Next time you need rain, let me know...I'll make another bad joke and we'll see if it works again. Glad for you and hope it continues through the summer. :)
