Okay, coffee it is. I don't drink too much anymore myself, haven't had one for at least a month. Last time out got way too interesting for words! At least I didn't have the two day hangover like my other half did! :lol: :lol: :lol: Man, was he hurtin'!

I strongly hinted last year.....he was bumfuzzled as to what kind to buy, I was at work he was at radio shack...he called me and asked me about one he was lookin at. I'd never heard of it..so got online while on the phone with him and looked it up. come to find out the website I clicked on just happened to have the identical same camera that he was lookin at for almost $100 less.....so I more or less ordered my own christmas present. He was kind enuff to wrap it and put it under the tree for me tho. LOL

what kinda camera do you have Lilly,it sure seems to work for you,IM thinking about getting me one with more reach,something I can shoot wild life with,I aint gonna try and be no shutter bug but I have seen a few nice deer and these 4x point and shoot just wont cut it.....................good luck

OKAY folks, I have had some private messages suggesting things. So here is what I propose:

In order for us all to get our feet wet, I propose we have a Branding Picture catagory for this first time. The branding picture MUST have a horse in the picture. That would limit the entries~that's for MY sake~and lets see how we do this first time.

Entries must be to me by Wednesday night at midnight. They will be posted on ranchers.net Thursday morning (morning is BEFORE noon, MDT). Voting can last until Friday night at 7 p.m. MDT.

How does that sound? Let's keep it simple (I like the KISS system, remember~Keep It Simple, Stupid!) and as we go along we can tweak it to be more sophisticated.

Okay. I guess we are open for entries. Everyone is to pm them to me. I will post them under Photography Contest entries. I'll do my best to post them as I receive them (this is the scary part!). I don't know what happens if my pm mailbox gets full. Will I lose any pictures?

...guess I better ask Macon what to do in that case.

Mine is a Fujifilm S3100, with 6x zoom, 4.0 mega pixels - I bought the extra card that holds 128 mb, other wise I can only get 16 pictures on there at the best quality setting with the card that came with it.
