Now Lord, you know I ain't all that good on patience, and I need to go to bed so would you hurry up & inspire me?......................................Lord, a lot of these other folks are waiting too, so could you hurry up and give me a lesson so we can all learn what we are supposed to?...................................................................................How are we gonna learn anything if God doesn't hurry up? Wonder what our lesson is this week? Lets put our heads together; maybe some of you folks could help me out. What do you think God might like us to learn? How would that profit me? Share any thoughts you might have.

One thing is for sure, everything happens in His time. Your lessons are important Shortgrass, this one ought to be interesting.

I think is is odd how it takes people so long to fing Him, and when the finally do, they want to get thier miracle RIGHT NOW!!

This old world would be a lot better place if we could completely share compassion and trust with our fellow man/woman. It would be a big job for Him but He is capable of anything.

Thanks, Shortgrass. I've just spent the past several minutes "Turning it Over". What already wasn't too bad a morning is even better now!

gcreekrch-You got that right!

One of the hardest things to do is wait on God but at times that is exactly what we are to do. I'm in situation that I would like God to get my family through quickly but He is wanting me to be strong and patient, it will be resolved in His time and His way if we wait on Him and lean on Him for the strength to go through it one day at a time.

stress?? you want to talk about stress??

someone forgot to order propane.... 55in the house this morning, except the office where i plugged in a small radiant oil heater....all 6 of us enjoying a cozy 20 x15 room...... no deliveries till Monday, so I am going to pull the tank from the grain bin and hook it up to the house.....

but I think the family is coming around to the idea of a wood burner!

I know God keeps telling me to Bloom where planted. My response has been I NEED rain and he has sent rain...Both kinds.
After reading this I see that what I am really asking is to be a full grown plant full of flowers. What I need to do is wait and grow the flowers will come.

THANKS shortgrass

No matter what if "HE" takes you to it He'll take you through it! That's been my biggest lesson Gods givin me in my life its my impatience in waiting is where I've had problam's but you know the waiting,if one looks back, those footprints were always there :)

Shortgrass,I hope you and Jan have a wonderful week, hugs to her for me.

Durham Reds & Soapweed each brought up the idea of thinking. God says let us reason together. Ever notice how much harder it is to reason when we are hurrying? For me the less urgency in a situation, the better the reasoning in my decisions.

What I get from this is give Him time & it will happen if it is supposed to. Good comment.

What I get from this is that while we are waiting on Him to see things our way, He may be waiting on us to see thing His way! I had not thought of that, but it makes sense.

frost bite ain't so bad.

We have a picture of the Savior knocking on a door. But the key to the picture is there is no latch string out, no knob to open from his side. He stands at our doors and knocks but it is only up to us to allow him to enter. And once he enter's our lives it even easier to act and do things that wouldnt be as he would do. To me thats why we oughta follow him always. He has the ultimate example of patience with us! If we will look to it, then we can see how we should be! This ones really tough for me cause i'm always in a hurry! :D Thanks Shortgrass!
