List of Terms I Love to Hate

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX and EXACTLY are the two that bug me the most. " Politically correct" should be done away with. It seems a person has to be so careful of what we say we might as well just keep our mouths shut.

SASH, "TOLERANCE-These people who preach tolerance are alot of times just advocating immorality."

VERY WELL PUT! I'm going to use that!

Ranchwife,

I agree with you, Canucklehead is NOT NICE and I literally cringe when I have to read that word.

ENVIROMENTILEST At least the way it is used now. We on this site are the true enviromentilests. Them wannabe SOB's ain't got a clue!

Cowboy- Most people in this country don't have a clue about that one either. Hell, it's really more of an adverb than a noun. It's more what you do than who you are. I prefer "hand". As in, he/she is a "good hand" or a "fair hand" or even a "poor hand", means a hell of a lot more to me.

Of course I just got home from driving 1500 miles in 30 hours with 3 hours of sleep. So I might feel different in a couple days when I've caught up on some sleep!

But then again like the foreman told the cowboy who was helping to trail cattle north from Texas and had to ride all day and then spend 2 hours on night gaurd, " What are you kickin' about? Hell, you can sleep all winter!"

Never heard it before I saw it on this site-- I'm 30 miles from the border and they are all "Canooks---EH"

"Canucklehead" - A Canadian that has the ability to be flexible and free thinking, due to the intangible brain knuckle!

Well, Murgen, if it doesn't bother you, I won't let it bother me!! I thought it derogatory, but putting it that way,... well.....

Agreed!!! The only time i have seen it here, it was derogatory and mean in spirit!!! I personally have nothing against canadians....never had a squabble with one (probably don't wanna, either  )....they are our neighbors and have always been our allies!! just do not wanna say anything that would be construed as mean....just not in me :D

Denny I beg to differ that is not a useless phrase. it seems to be a very usefull phrase for the ladies. lol So usefull in fact they use it all the time :P

the most useless phrase I have heard is

NOT TONIGHT I HAVE A HEADACHE

chocolate and the occassional flower will help take care of that frequent headache    ...a vacation outta the house never hurts, either! :D

maple leaf... I am not doing either, cause there is nothing to brag about (not for guys anyways) and it dont do any good to complain.
