Ty had a long drawn out weekend-his football coaches talked him into playing Friday so he had to turn out of the Highschool rodeo south of us. Austin and him played huge and they won their first game of the year 36-19 over Rosetown. Ty had an 80 yard touchdown run. They hopped in the van and we made 90 miles in just over an hour so they could ride in their circuit finals. Ty didn't get by his bronc but he did riode a pretty tough bull to get 3rd in the first perf. The boys got up early Saturday and we drove another 150 miles soth to another rodeo. austin won the sadlle bronc and Ty got second-he just drew a crappy horse and his reride wasn't much better. Hid travelling buddies were second and fourth in bulls. Back in the van and 150 miles back for the second finals perf-it was eliminator pen night and they all bucked off. Sunday was the interesting day-Ty got hammered by his bronc at about 7 seconds-rolled off the wall away from his rein and dropped himon his head. There werre three guys with one bull down and the other two bucked off-Ty had a real spinner away from his hand and got bucked off at 7.5-pretty disappointed but he hadn't been on a bull since May. Took him for X-Rays after the rodeo and here he had whiplash fropm his bronc ride. Rodeo is done now so just hockey and football now-I don't hopw his bull riding improved so much-maybe a break does you good.
