I came across this interesting picture of a longhorn brahman cross.

I would like to try to reproduce this for fun and possibly an intersting head mount. However I have been told that some brahman are polled and some horned. And that the polled gene is dominant. My question is should I try to find a horned brahman or would it be ok to used a polled brahman. It seems that unhorned brahman are easier to find in my area, however I don't know if they are polled or have just been dehorned. The accompanying article says they used brahman bulls on longhorn cows. I already have longhorn bulls so I plan to purchase a brahman heifer and use him. Just a little experiment, but I thought I'd see what ya'll knew about it. Thanks for any information you have to offer.
